Why We Baptize?

One of the most meaningful steps in affirming your faith is to follow Jesus in water baptism. Baptism by immersion is an event that publicly declares an internal commitment to follow Jesus. We celebrate baptisms several times during the year in our church services, and annually with a big celebration at Lake Michigan.

Get Baptized.

The next opportunity to be baptized is on December 6.

The next Baptism Information Meeting will be November 22, at 9:30am in Room 5 of at the St. Joseph Campus. If you would like to be baptized please fill out the form at the bottom of this page or call the church office at 269.983.1524.

INFANT BAPTISM  We do not baptize infants, but encourage parents to participate in a baby dedication, similar to the Biblical examples of the dedication of Samuel by his mother in the Old Testament, and Jesus by his parents in the New Testament. Learn more.

"Do you not know that all of us, who have been baptized into Christ Jesus, were baptized into His death? We were buried therefore with Him by baptism into death, SO THAT as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, WE TOO might walk in newness of life! For if we have been united with Him in death like His, we shall certainly be united with Him in a resurrection like His." Romans 6:3-5
