BAPTISM AT FIRST CHURCH

We believe baptism by immersion is for believers who have confessed Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and that it symbolizes the newness of life that we have in Christ. (Acts 16:25-34)

At First Church, we believe that every person must exercise personal faith in Christ when he or she is old enough to understand the Gospel. If you believe that Jesus died for your sin and that He is your only hope for eternal life, then baptism is the next step in your journey of faith.

ARE YOU READY TO TAKE THAT NEXT STEP?

Lake Michigan Baptism will take place at Jean Klock Park on Sunday July 30th. Worship at the pavilion begins at 6pm, with baptisms in the lake immediately after.
