I’m here in Orlando with a dozen youth pastors from all over the country. We're trying to figure out how we can become a catalyst for raising up a new generation of Christ centered leaders. In the process of this, I find that I am greatly encouraged in my journey toward deeper intimacy with God. The journey is not one to be made alone, but with friends. For the past four days I have given and received so much support for the journey. One new friend in particular hears God’s voice so clearly, and speaks it with such boldness. God, I want to have ears to hear you. I want to experience more of the super natural in my life. I want to live at a deeper place with you.
As we close out our 4 days together by laying on hands to pray over one another, I am reminded again that I do not journey alone. My search for deeper intimacy must include community. Lord, in what ways can I begin to live in deeper community with others?
