St. Joe Bridge: Building Bridges, Transforming Lives

OUR VISION IS SIMPLE. WE WANT TO BUILD BRIDGES THAT TRANSFORM LIVES:

to Christ   |   to each other   |   to our world

WHY A BRIDGE? A bridge connects to distant places... and can be crossed. It is the means of getting from one place to another and makes the impossible, possible. A bridge enables traffic to flow from one side to another... and back.

BUILDING BRIDGES to Christ  We're here to build bridges of faith that extend over chasms of doubt and unbelief, and take that to the highways and byways of life so people can meet and get to know Jesus. The primary bridge-building tool to Christ is our weekend services, enabling people to express their love for God through worship.

BUILDING BRIDGES to connect people  God created us to be in community, so we encourage personal growth through groups that bridge the gap from individuals to other people. Our primary tool for personal spiritual growth most often happens in small groups -- whether that group is a class, a life group or a team serving in ministry -- where people become connected with a common purpose.

BUILDING BRIDGES to serve our world  Jesus' message is clear: He wants us to go into the world and make disciples. "The world" is simply those around us with needs not yet met. It's people in our community and people in the far corners of the globe. We build these bridges through ministry teams, helping people engage in teams to live out their faith. Like different bridges, ministry teams are built in various forms and they function in many places, both in the church and beyond. We strive to balance sharing the good news of Christ with doing good deeds. Because when we emulate Jesus, people are naturally drawn to Him.
