Thanks for taking a look at First Church
We welcome you to stop by and join us as our guest at one of our services on Saturday evening or Sunday morning. What you'll find unique about First Church is that we are truly a multi-generational church consisting of all types of people and all kinds of age groups.
Saturday at 6 p.m. This evening of worship in our Life Center is a great way to end your week, worshipping and learning about God with a band, multimedia, and relevant biblical teaching.
Sundays at 9:30 a.m. This worship event occurs in our sanctuary space where a worship band, stained glass, candles, the choir, and multimedia elements converge with relevant biblical teaching as we begin our week worshipping and learning about God.
Sundays at 11 a.m. Meeting in the Life Center, we are invited to start off our week worshipping and learning about God with a worship band, multimedia, and relevant biblical teaching.
We invite you to check things out on your own terms. At a weekend worship experience you're welcome to come in, help yourself to coffee and relax. You won't be singled out, nor as a guest, expected to participate in any offerings. What to wear? Be comfortable. If you usually dress casually, you'll fit in. If you prefer business casual, you'll fit in. The 9:30 a.m. Sunday service tends to have a little more of a business casual dress than the informal atmosphere of the other services, but regardless, you'll fit in. When you look around you'll find singles, young people, older people, married couples, professionals, laborers, stay-at-home moms and students, each with unique life stories.
Each weekend experience is usually a little over an hour. An hour and 5 minutes is a pretty consistent norm.
If you have children with you, they're more than welcome to join you in the services. However, we offer some great options for kids too. There is nursery care for babies on the same floor as the Life Center and Sanctuary and a fun kids program upstairs called KidZone, for kids through 5th grade. Contact Pastor Bill Shepard for more information on our KidZone.
