Philippians 3:10-14 I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the
fellowship of sharing in his sufferings, becoming like him in his
death, and so, somehow, to attain to the resurrection from the dead. Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made
perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus
took hold of me. Brothers,
I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I
do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.

My favorite thing about First Church is the people! It is exciting to see God moving and working in the lives of His people. Their love for God and passion for His purposes makes this a loving and accepting place.
how I met Jesus: I was raised by Christian parents and at an early age I came to love Jesus and accept Him as my Savior. It wasn’t until I was a young woman and faced some difficult circumstances that I came to understand that I needed Him to direct me in all areas of my life. It was then I came to invite Him to be LORD of my life and the real adventure began!
random fact about myself: I enjoy meeting other women and having some great conversation, preferably with a good cup of coffee in my hand. I have four sons and my husband and I are now empty nesters.
