Sometimes, individuals with special needs are overlooked by society. But we wanted to let them know what an important part of our community they truly are. So we celebrated them with God's extravagant love and held a great big party, at
THE PROM: an evening with the stars

Through support of the community, Baroda Church of God, Overflow Church, First Congregational Church, First United Methodist Church and the Christian Reformed Church of St. Joseph, and hundreds of hours of time, monetary support, and donations of local organizations and businesses, THE PROM became a night to remember.
First Church was transformed into a twinkling, glittery land fit for a star, and the reality of being a true VIP, blanketed our guests. All were crowned Kings and Queens at God's prom. Guests were greeted on the red carpet by escorts who guided many through the sequin-filled evening. The "stars"
received the full Hollywood experience complete with free formal wear,
paparazzi, dinner, prom portraits, dancing, hair and make up, games, prizes, mini-golf, karaoke and an interactive comedy club.
