The spiritual disciplines I have missed out on this summer are more than my personal routines. I've also been too busy for community, at least in the way I was use to before summer trips took over. Summer days are longer, but still don't give me any extra time. People that I use to meet with weekly, I have been unable to connect with for most of the summer.
This morning, Sunday morning, I am finally here with a small group of guys that I've been missing out on meeting with. What a great time to catch up and encourage one another. We make a decision to really focus on the people prayer this next week; praying for everyone we see. We get a chance to put that into action right away when we walk upstairs for church. There's plenty of people to pray for.
