It's been a long time since I had a good run on the beach. I'm excited to go. BUt my enthusiasm deflates as I come up over the hill and realize the waves are huge; so big that the entire beach is covered.
The guy who lives next to this public access put signs in last year telling us to stay off his beach. Acoording to some ordinance we have to walk below the high water mark. Well, guess what Buddy? The high water mark is all the way up to your fence now, and your sign is in 2 feet of water.
Sometimes waves come crashing in and change our plans. Our designs and nicely posted signs that gave such structure to life all of a sudden don't mean much. Why would we expect every day to be sunny and perfect. Thats not reality. So I should not be surprised when waves come crashing.
Anyway, I won't be running on the beach today.
