We will gather for worship at 9:30, then all hit the streets to “Do Something!” You can still sign-up! Visit our Do Something page and view the projects still open.

MAY 30: NEXT FOR STUDENTS On Thursday, May 30, 6:30-7:30pm, Next happens. All 5th-grade graduates are invited to the KZ Clubhouse to celebrate their accomplishments in KidZone and learn all about D-Groups, while 8th-grade graduates are invited to the Attic/youth center to get an idea of what to expect from the High School ministry, Tribe. 

JUNE 12: WOMEN’S SUMMER STUDY BEGINS This summer, join a casual Bible study of Shaunti Feldhahn’s video study, “For Women Only,” that shows what women need to know about the inner lives of men. We meet Wednesdays, 6:45-8:30pm, in the SJ Fellowship Hall, on June 12, 19, 26, July 10, 17, 31, August 7. Come when you can! StudyGuides ($14) available at the First Church offi ce or at the first class on June 12. Register online.

MAY 21: VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL MEETING Hey friends of VBS! It’s time to start “rocking” on plans for this year’s VBS “Kingdom Rock – Where Kids Stand Strong for God.” A VBS kick-off meeting will be held this Tuesday, May 21, 7pm, in the Kidzone Clubhouse. All people interested in helping out with VBS this summer (July 21-25) are urged to attend. We hope to see you there! 

THANK YOU! A great big Thank You to everyone that donated their goods and/or time & energy to make this year’s Missions Rummage Sale such a success. Because of YOU, we raised $7,489 for Missions!

MAY 22: CLEANING UP THE WOODS Meet in the St. Joe campus parking lot at 6:30pm and get instructions for clean-up near Jefferson School in St. Joe. This is another great family serving opportunity. We will be done at 8pm. For more info contact Rhyan at 269.930.0631

SUPERBOOKS Get your Superbook ($38.95) from one of our high school students and help us raise funds for students to go on their summer mission trip to Joplin, Missouri. 

TAKE A SWING FOR MICHIGAN YOUTH Lake Michigan Hills Golf Club sponsors a golf benefi t on Friday, June 14, 9-2, for Berrien County’s Michigan Youth Opportunities Initiative (MYOI). To take part, pick up a registration form at the Welcome Center. To learn more about MYOI, visit myoifund.org

MAY 22: BARBADOS WORK CAMP MEETING An information meeting on a work camp trip to help build a church in Barbados in February 2014 will be held in the Fellowship Hall of our St. Joseph campus this Wednesday, 6:30pm. 

MAY 31: PRIME TIME DINNER Adults 60+ enjoy a catered meat loaf dinner at First Church (6:00pm) as they learn the history of the Whitcomb Hotel by Dr. Stuart Boekeloo. Cost: $11. Register by May 23.

JUNE 9: MUSICAL THEATER PARENT MEETING A parent meeting for WAM! 4 Kids 4 the Way, our Son Spot Musical Theater workshop & production is Sunday, June 9, 6:00pm. in the SJ Life Center. The workshop is June 17-22 (performance on June 22). Be sure to check out this exciting opportunity for your child! 

JUNE 12: MIDDLE SCHOOL LUNCH CLUB BEGINS Don’t let your Middle School student be bored this summer. Lunch Club combines service projects, fun, and lunch! We meet 12:30-4pm on June 12, July 3, July 10, 24 (VBX) Aug 7, 14. Cost: $10. Registration form and payment are due June 2.
